Ashmore Garden World donates on Anzac Day

26 April 2002

Anzac Day has a special meaning for Andrew Fellowes, the owner of
Ashmore Garden World.  With his grandfather serving as an English
solider in World War I and his father being a prisoner of war in World
War II, Andrews passion to acknowledge all our Anzacs on Anzac
Day is something that he'll never lose.

On April 24th 2002, Ashmore Garden World kindly donated over 30
plants to a small Primary School in Benowa as a symbol of growth
and remembrance of our Anzacs.

The plants donated were a mix of rosemary bushes and other Australian
natives.  We hope that the trees will go to good use and help our
younger generation remember those who fought for their country
and the freedom we have today.
