Annuals & Biennials



The term annual is applied to garden flowers that complete their life cycle in the span of one growing season.

This means they come up in the spring, grow, flower, set seed and then die after the frosts in the fall.

Red Riding Hood with its masses of light red flowers will bring continual beauty to your home and garden.  It flowers for most of the year.  Thrives in pots and hanging baskets. 

'Marco Polo/Selectra Red' - Calibrachoa


A colourful, low maintenance new cultivar suited to a wide range of garden applications.  Continually produces shoots from the center of the plant, developing into a compact round bush.

'White Splash' - Nierembergia


Quick growing annual that flowers for long periods of time.  Perfect for pots and grows best in full sun.  Prune to maintain shape and promote new growth.

'Fairy Lights' - Scirpus


This annual produces tiny star-like flowers for most of the year.  Keep plant watered regularly and liquid fertilize once a month.  Grows best outdoors in partial shade.

'Busy Lizzie' - Impatiens


 


Has oval pointed leaves, bronze-green, sometimes variegated in yellow or white, and bears flat 5 petaled, spurred flowers in shades of pink, orange, flame red and cerise, sometimes marble with white.
